Janis Zakis - Provides the essential accordion sound on piano accordion to create the famed Ock'n'Dough wall of sound and great blues-accordian of the style favoured by the urban zydeco bands after the like of Clifton Chenier and Buckwheat Zydeco. Also a highly charismatic vocalist - once likened to Jim Morrisson of The Doors - ride that storm JZ! Janis calls most of the dances when performing for a ceilidh.
Bob Fisher - Highly versatile vocalist, guitarist and english concertina player. Bob has the ability to sing traditional ballads in many styles and also turns out an excellent blues style that lends itself ideally to cajun and zydeco. His rock solid rythymn, lead and slide guitar and bass playing forms half the engine room with Dace. He's quite a whizz on English Concertina as well - both baritone and treble.
Dace Fisher - The engine room of the band providing a rock solid backing on drums, tit-fer (triangle), zydeco rub board and anything else she can hit (including her husband Bob!). Dace is a highly respected percussionist in cajun/zydeco circles.
Jo Porter - Newest addition to the band, Jo provides clarinet and tenor saxophone and girly vocals to colour and augment the sound.
Robin Hillman - An outstanding fiddle player and singer from the North East with acid wit!, giving a lively and gutsy feel to both the cajun and zydeco elements of the band's programme. Due to Robin's theatrical commitments he may not always appear with us as he's so busy with the luvvies!
