Highlights 2012 - The year got off to a cracking start with a lovely crowd for the cajun dance at Straw Bear Festival in Whittlesey in January. We've started recording a new album, which hopefully we'll complete this year, time permitting, we'll post some tracks up when we've something ready in the meantime listen here to live recordings of I'm Coming Home and Esti Di La Mor (no I don't know the correct spelling) recorded live in Italy August 2011 (yes, the volume is too low on them). Also check out our new Video page, just one entry for now, hopefully more to follow.
2011 - We upgraded our PA to a pair of Bose L1 model 2 systems, and are amazed at the clarity, power and small size of these systems, they are rated for audiences up to 500 and we're able to save mixer settings for different types of gig - so setup is even easier now! 2009/10 saw as busy as ever. Jo has taken on a lot of the dance calling duties, leaving Janis free to make the most of his big fat accordion! You're still likely to see all four of us on the floor getting a dance going or leading you through a move or two - we just can't help ourselves! 2010 was the bands 25th anniversary. We had a cracking time at Gloucester Cajun & Zydeco Festival and it was lovely to see friends we hadn't seen for some time. May 2007 saw the release of our latest CD recording entitled Kukulis with a lively mixture of Anglo-Latvian songs and tunes with some zydeco influenced blues thrown to add some Louisiana spice - check out the sound archive Ock'n'Dough - for all your ceilidh, barn dance, cajun dance, concert, session and festival, wedding, christening and party requirements - contact one of the most versatile bands around
